Catherine Ogar

Catherine L. Ogar, 91, of Wakefield died on Tuesday, June 21 at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading.
Born in Lynn on May, 15, 1925 she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Harney) Lemmon.
Mrs. Ogar was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Class of 1942 and Emmanuel College, Class of 1946. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1962 and was a member of St. Florence Parish in Wakefield.
Mrs. Ogar was the wife of the late George W. Ogar. She was the loving mother of George W. Ogar, Jr., Elizabeth M. Ogar & husband Mark Jacobs, Catherine E. Ruiz, Peggy Kennedy & her late husband William P. Kennedy, Jr., Patricia E. Beane & husband Donald & Marie T. Brown & husband Peter. Mrs. Ogar is also survived by 10 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild. She was predeceased by her brother Francis Lemmon.
Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Florence Church 47 Butler Ave. Wakefield at 10:00. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lynn. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday from 4-7pm.
