Catherine Cann

Catherine T . Cann , 53, of Lynnfield formerly of Lynn and Reading, died on Tuesday, December 20 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.

Catherine was born in Brighton on February 3, 1958 and was the daughter of Anna (Comeau) Bourke of Reading and the late William Bourke.

Mrs. Cann was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School, Class of 1977. She had retired in 1996 from the Lynn Visiting Nurses Association as an Home Health Aid. Catherine was a member of the Calvary Christian Church in Lynnfield. She had volunteered at the children's gift shop at the Salem Hospital and at the Calvary Christian Church.

In addition to her mother, Catherine is survived by her husband Harvey Cann , her brother Timothy Bourke of Port Charlotte, Florida, her three sisters; Diane Buckley of Reading, Lisa Millett and her husband Robert of Port Charlotte, Florida and Suzanne Hayes and her husband Shamus of Little Compton, Rhode Island. She is also survived by her three nephews; Aidan, Declan and William Hayes.

A funeral service will be held in the Calvary Christian Church, 47 Grove St, Lynnfield on Friday at 11am. Visitation for relatives and friends will held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday from
4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MDA, 138 Conant St, 1st Floor, Beverly, MA 01915.
