Charles Alleca

Charles S. Alleca, 63, of Reading formerly of Wakefield, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 19 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Melrose on February 9, 1954, he was the son of the late A. Charles and Grace Marie (Terravecchia) Alleca.

Mr. Alleca was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1972. He enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Mr. Alleca was the brother of Richard Alleca and his wife Beverlee of Dracut and the late Kenneth C. Alleca. He was the brother-in-law of Virginia Alleca of Wakefield. Mr. Alleca was the uncle of Ken Alleca, Jill Nadeau, Nicole Alleca, Staci Alleca, and many great nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 7pm. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the service from 5-7pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38501 or to the Mystic Valley Elder Services 300 Commercial St #19, Malden, MA 02148.
