Charles Antetomaso

Charles S. Antetomaso, 68, of Woburn, formerly Wakefield, died on Sunday, May 15 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Born in Stoneham on June 27, 1942 he was the son of the late Anthony A. and Elide (Bidollo) Antetomaso.

Mr. Antetomaso was raised in Wakefield and had played in Wakefield Youth Hockey. He was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1960 and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Mr. Antetomaso had worked at Raytheon in Andover before his retirement.

Mr. Antetomaso was the husband of Dorothy J. (Hummel) Antetomaso. He was the father of Stephanie M. Antetomaso of Woburn and the brother of Anthony A. Antetomaso of Wakefield, Brenda L. Contilli of Peabody and Mary Ann Reynolds of Nashua, NH. He was the uncle of Traci O'Connor, Patricia Contilli, Matthew A. & Jordan Antetomaso and Jerry, Michael & Lisa Reynolds and the nephew of Marie Cahill, Josephine Brickley, Irma Wall and Angie Farinosa.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, 4 – 8 p.m. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
