Charles T. BEATON, Sr.
May 7, 1934-February 23, 2018.
Please pray to give us the strength to cope with the loss, and to remember and celebrate the greatness of Charles Beaton Sr.; his quiet support, his compassion for all whom he met, his undying devotion and love for his wife of 63 years, his dear Joanie, and his unconditional love for his six children; Charlie, Honey, John, Joseph, Marybeth, and Missy; which then extended to his ten grandchildren; Craig, Kim, Tracie, Jessie, Ami, Damian Jr., Gina, Alison, Charlie, and Cody. The love he bestowed on them can never be measured or replaced. Charlie also leaves behind the "outlaws;" Sam, Maureen, Damian, Kristen, and our new comer, Jimmy, and then of course, little Audrey and dear "Aunt" Millie, all of whom he cherished and accepted as his own. Charlie held you all dear to his heart and loved you as part of his family.
Charlie was a good man; honest, sincere, loving and kind. He was one of 21 children who grew up in a loving household, and was the last survivor of one of Lynn's largest families. Charlie leaves behind many, many dear nieces and nephews, as well as a countless number of friends. After attending St. Mary's School, Charlie joined the Navy and served our country for eight years. Later working as a construction Superintendent until retirement from Perini Construction Company. Together with his wife, they gave their children the most fabulous life filled with love, hope, and happiness. Charles Beaton, we thank you. You leave a legacy of kindness, loyalty, love, and compassion. You could be imitated, but never be duplicated. We honor you with every fiber of our being. We love you, always and forever. Until we meet again, we know you will be always watching over us from Heaven.
His Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield at 10:30 AM.
