Charles Bryson

Charles Bryson of Andover and formerly of Wakefield died Sunday, December 25, at the Lawrence General Hospital.

Born in Everett on April 16, 1940 he was the son of the late William and Gladys (McKay) Bryson .

Mr. Bryson was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of the Wakefield High School Class of 1958. He was a long time employee of the Town of Wakefield, Department of Public Works and retired as Foreman of the Parks Department. He was a member of The Reading Rifle and Revolver Club.

Mr. Bryson was the beloved husband of 49 years to Maureen C. (Hourihan) Bryson . He was the father of Michael W. Bryson of Andover. He was the brother Richard Bryson of NJ and Katherine Mazzochia of Andover. He is also survived by his three grandchildren Devon M., Danya M. and Dylan M. Bryson .

His service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 11am. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
