, 59, of Stoneham died on Thursday, January 14 at the Winchester Hospital.
Born in Stoneham on January 27, 1950 he was the son of the late Sabatino and Louise (Nicolazzo)

Charlie was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1969. During Vietnam he served in the U.S. Navy. Charlie had worked for the Town of Stoneham, Department of Public Works for 37 years. He had been a member of the VFW, the Woburn Lodge of Elks and the Vietnam Veteran's Moving Wall Committee. He had also coached in the Stoneham Little League program.
He was the beloved husband of Lourdes D. (Zabala)

His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St. Stoneham on Tuesday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
