Cheryl Alhemovich

Cheryl Ann Alhemovich , 54, of Wakefield died on Friday, September 3 at her home.

Born in Winthrop on July 20, 1956, she was the loving and cherished daughter of Eleanor L. (Trapasso) Alhemovich of Wakefield and the late Cmdr. John S. Alhemovich .

Cheryl was a 1974 graduate of Wakefield High School, attended Montserrat School of Art and graduated from Fazio Beauty Academy. She was a professional hairdresser serving the Wakefield community for many years. She was also a member of the OSIA Wakefield #1734 Lodge.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her beloved sister Carolyn L. Prieskorn and her husband George of Wakefield and her brother, J. Gary Alhemovich and his wife Denise of Deltona, FL. She was the devoted aunt of Kristen E. Perone and Sharalyn E. Prieskorn of Wakefield and great aunt of Faith, Kyle, John and Joy Perone. She was predeceased by her great nephew Caleb Ryan and great niece Lily Rose Perone.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Avenue, Wakefield on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 11:15 a.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 – 8 p.m. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield
