Claire Hathorne

Claire P. Hathorne, 79 of Wakefield died Thursday July 28 at her home. Born in Melrose, MA on December 31, 1931 the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine (Cronin) Concannon. Mrs. Hathorne was raised in Melrose and was a graduate of Melrose High School. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1963 and was retired from the Everett Animal Clinic where she worked for many years.

Mrs. Hathorne is survived by her son Robert K. Hathorne, Jr. and his wife Mary of Wakefield. Also by her 3 grandchildren, Sarah, Robert, III and Amy Hathorne. She was the sister of the late Thomas, Anthony & Elaine Concannon, Louise Francis and Ruth Babcock. She is also pre-deceased by her former husband Robert K. Hathorne.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Sunday from 1-4 pm. Interment will be private.
