Clara McGowan

Clara (Cinquino) McGowan passed away peacefully at Sunrise Assisted Living in Lynnfield at the age of 95 on Wednesday, July 6. She was born in Boise, France on August 30, 1920. She was the much-loved only daughter of the late Joseph Cinquino and Linda (Aglietta) Cinquino. She resided in Lynnfield most of her life.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Mr. John G. McGowan . She leaves many nieces and nephews, as well as loving friends including; Nancy Stewart and Peter Bunce.

Mrs. McGowan was a 1939 graduate of Girl's Latin School in Boston and a 1943 graduate of Boston University. Mrs. McGowan traveled extensively throughout the world with her husband and spent many years as the co-owner of the C. Sumner Teel Inc. Insurance Agency in Reading, MA.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, July 13 at 1:45pm at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake Street, Peabody, MA.
