Colin J. "Coley" Devine, 69, of Wakefield died at his home early Friday morning, June 10.
Born in North Andover on March 9, 1942, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Alice (McCoy) Devine.
Mr. Devine was raised in North Andover and had been a Wakefield resident for the past 35 years. He had worked as a chef for a number of local area restaurants including Kitty's in North Reading, The Daniel Fuller House of Middleton and also The Village Green in Danvers. He was also a retired Interior Decorator for "Devine Decorating" and a past member of the Kiwanis Club.
Mr. Devine was the husband of Priscilla A. (LeFave) Devine. He was the father of Michael A. Devine and his wife Bridgett of Waltham, Pamela J. Gelardi and her husband Robert of Wakefield and Cheryl A. Evangelista and her husband Robert of Boxford. He was the brother of the late Kevin Devine and Evelyn Partridge and the Grandfather of Matthew, Daniel, Robert, Kevin, Christina, Kathryn and Michael.
A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Monday at 11 o'clock. A period of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 – 5.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life/Wakefield, Coley's Angels, 9 Riverside Rd., Weston, MA 02493.
Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
