Concetta Malonson-Ekstrom

Concetta M . (Calcagno) Malonson-Ekstrom , 87of Wakefield died Sunday February 28, at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading. Born in Saugus, MA August 14, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Mario and Maria (Millitari) Calcagno.

Concetta Was raised and educated in the Saugus. She was a former employee with L.B. Evans Shoe Company and later worked as a nurses aid at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital.

Concetta was the wife of the late John A. Malonson & Earl Ekstrom. She is survived by her two children; John A. Malonson Jr. and his dear friend Janice Burke and Nancy M . Wentzel and husband Loring. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren; Erin and Ryan.

A Funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 11am. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday 4-6pm. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Saugus.
