Connie Wolfe

Connie Sardella Wolfe , 85, of Port St. Lucie, FL, formerly of Wakefield, died on Wednesday, April 4 at the St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Born in Melrose on May 14, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Elia and Luisa (Padelaro) Sardella .

Mrs. Wolfe , was a native and longtime resident of Wakefield and a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1944. Prior to her marriage to Edward Wolfe in 1993, she had lived with her nephew, John Giambarresi and his wife Anne and their two children, Leah and Jaclyn of Wakefield.

Before her retirement, Mrs. Wolfe had worked in the Bookkeeping Departments of the Copley Shoe Company, the Wakefield Daily Item and David Smith Co. in North Reading.

Mrs. Wolfe is survived by her husband, Edward Wolfe , and her brother, Louis Sardella and his wife Marie of Boca Raton, FL and Revere. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and 2 grand nieces, Leah and Jacklyn Giambarresi. Mrs. Wolfe was predeceased by her three brothers, Leo Sardella , Joseph "Puck" Sardella and Stephen Sardella and her sister, Rose Giambarresi.

A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at noon. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 to 12 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
