Corinne White

Corinne M. White, 85 of Wakefield, formerly of Melrose died on Thursday April 19 in Woburn.

Born in Everett on August 23, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. & Corinne A. (Beauchemin) Chatelle.

Mrs. White had been a Wakefield resident since 1973 and had formerly resided in Melrose. She retired from the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital where she had been the Manager of the hospital mail room for many years.

Mrs. White was the beloved wife of the late Robert S. White. She was the mother of Louise Avery of Burlington, Rev. Fr. Robert White of Springfield, Joseph White of Wakefield, Denise Lepere & her husband Gene of Everett, Michael White of Wakefield and JoAnn Crotty and her husband Andrew of Middleton. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
