Cynthia Ann Sawin, 64, a resident of Lynnfield for 31 years, died on Tuesday, December 3 at the NSMC Union Hospital in Lynn.
Born in Cambridge on April 30, 1948 she was the beloved daughter of Harriet A. (Smith) Brown of Lynnfield and the late Curtis M. Brown.
Cynthia was a graduate of Arlington High School, Class of 1966 and Chamberlain Junior College in Boston. She was a former Executive Secretary for Arthur D. Little Co. of Cambridge. Cynthia published a newsletter for many years on Health and Fitness. She also enjoyed gardening and knitting.
Cynthia was the devoted wife of Frank E. Sawin, III. She was the loving mother of Carrie Ann Rubino and her husband Benjamin of Georgetown and Amy Ann Sawin of Cambridge. She was the caring sister of Curtis J. Brown of Cape Elizabeth, ME and proud grandmother of Mia Ann and Molly Ann Rubino.
A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 11 a.m. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
