Dale Fish

Dale E. Fish of Wakefield, a resident for more than 50 years died Sunday August 3 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital at age 75. Born in Dover, PA on March 13, 1933 he was the son of the late George & Fairy (Draughbaugh) Fish. Mr. Fish was raised in York Haven, PA. He later served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. A welder, he was the owner of Avery Welding of So. Boston. He was a member of the IUOE Local #4 of Boston for 20 years. He was also a past member of the West Side Social Club.

Mr. Fish is survived by his wife Jacqueline A. (O'Meara) Fish. Two sons, Dale E. Fish, Jr. & his wife Elaine of Boynton Beach, FL and Stephen J. Fish & his wife Lynne of Ayer. Also survived by his brother Dennis V. Fish & his wife Sharon of PA and his grandchildren Scott, Aiden, Jeremy and Ryan.

A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Wednesday at 11:00. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday 4-8 PM
