Damian D . Morse , 37, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, April 16th after a two-year battle with cancer.
Born in Madrid, Spain on September 13th, 1977 and raised in Nottingham, NH, Damian was the son of Carolyn Morse-Finn and Martin J. Finn. A resident of Wakefield, MA since 2011, Damian was the devoted husband of Jaclyn Ortiz and an amazing father to 5-year twins, Paloma and Bodhi. An archivist of, and expert in, music across multiple genres, Damian was also DJ Mantisounds and an amateur Musicologist. Damian's mixtapes and music blog inspired many.
Damian will be remembered by his friends for his fierce loyalty, infectious laugh, and passion for political issues. He will be missed.
