Damien Hurlburt

Damien A . Hurlburt , Jr., 48, of Wakefield, died suddenly on Thursday, July 9. at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Stoneham on October 11, 1960, he was the son of Damien Hurlburt Sr. and the late Beverly A . (Chambers) Hurlburt .

Mr. Hurlburt was a life long resident of Wakefield. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman as well as working as a painter in the area.

In addition to his father Mr. Hurlburt is survived by his two brothers Bernard P. Hurlburt of E. Rutherford, NJ and Frederick S. Hurlburt of Newbury. He is also survived by his niece Elizabeth and nephew Joseph.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10am. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm.
