Dan Blanchette

Dan Blanchette , 46, formerly of Lawrence, currently a resident of Bynum NC, died unexpectedly on November 27, 2012.

Dan was a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and worked there in the Carolina Population Center as a research programmer. He was a member of the Pittsboro Running Club and an active member of the Bynum community.

Dan is predeceased by his father, E F "Buddy" Blanchette and is survived by a large family whom he loved dearly. His mother Eileen G (Fairburn) Blanchette of Charlotte, NC, sister Frances Farrell and husband, David of Chapel Hill, NC, brother Paul Blanchette , wife Katie, their sons Adam and Brian, of Mint Hill, NC, sister Eileen Coffman, husband CDR Mark Coffman, USN, their daughters MaryBeth and Cassidy, and son Matthew, of Norfolk, VA, his loving girlfriend Sundae Lewis, her daughter Taber and son Brian of Cary, NC.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 114 South Broadway in Lawrence on Dec 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. followed by a burial service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover.
