Daniel R. Gearin

Daniel R. Gearin, age 32 of Wakefield, died on Sunday July 23rd at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

He was born in Melrose on February 8, 1991 and was the son of Anne (Hartman) Gearin and the late Robert Gearin.

Daniel was raised in Wakefield until the age of 10, when he moved to York, Maine with his family. He was a graduate of York High School, class of 2009, and Endicott College, class of 2013. He was an event planner at Misselwood at Endicott College, and later the director of  Events and Marketing for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). He was an avid sports fan. His hobbies included WWE, golf, and technology. He was a guy who could fix anything and as he would always say, “full of useless information”.

He is the loving son of Anne Gearin of York, ME. He was the beloved brother of William J. Gearin of York, ME, Kristen Gearin of York, ME, and Michelle Sule and her husband Cortland of Wakefield. He is also survived by his girlfriend Kelly Snedeker of Wakefield. 

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday July 31 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
