David Blain

David A . Blain , 58 of Lynnfield formerly of Swampscott, died Wednesday, September 23 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Lynn on October 19, 1950 he was the son of the late Maurice and Catherine (Comeau) Blain .

Mr. Blain was a graduate of Swampscott, Class of 1969. He had been a Lynnfield resident for the past 11 years. Mr. Blain was a supervisor for R.C. Griffin Construction Company of Peabody.

He was the beloved husband of Carol Chisholm. Devoted father of Nicole Tracy and her husband James of Amesbury and Candace Beiler and her husband Rudy of Lowell. Cherished grandfather of Camden Tracy. Son-in-law of Anne Chisholm of Malden. Brother of Anne Hagopian and her husband Rev. Bob Hagopian of Rowley, Trudi Baxter of New Bern, NC and Albert Blain and his wife Carolyn of Stratham, NH. Brother-in-law of Margie and Jim Lupien of Windham, NH. Also survived by his best friend Phil Smigliani of Peabody and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Saturday at 10am followed by a funeral mass in Sacred Hearts Church, 315 Main St, Malden at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.
