David Yngve

David E . Yngve , a longtime Wakefield resident, died Saturday May 22, at the Wakefield Care & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Boston on May 1, 1940, he was the son of the late Enock and Evelyn Yngve .

Mr. Yngve was raised in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield High School, class of 1958. He had gone on to serve in the United States Air Force and later was self employed as a carpenter. Mr. Yngve was also a Call Firefighter for Wakefield in the late 70's and into the 80's.

Mr. Yngve was the husband of Beverly (Wilby) Yngve . He is survived by their son Eric Yngve and his wife Alissa and also his sister Joan Spencer and her husband Robert of NH.

Visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield, on Wednesday from 4 – 8 PM. A memorial service will be held at the Faith Evangelical Church, 200 Franklin St., Melrose on Thursday at 11 a.m.
