David Buckingham

David M . Buckingham , 69, of Wakefield died Wednesday, September 21 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

Born in Woodbury, NJ on June 6, 1941, he was the son of the late Francis Sheldon and Elizabeth (Kerr) Buckingham .

Mr. Buckingham was raised in Natick and was a graduate of Natick High School. He was also a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. David was a long time Florist and the owner of Flowers by Raymond & Garland of Tewksbury. He also had been a member of the Wakefield Lyons Club.

Mr. Buckingham was the father of Sarah E. Brown of Spencer and Corey D. Buckingham of Stoneham. He was the life partner of Melinda Syer of Wakefield and the grandfather of Elizabeth, Tristan, Olivia & Zachary. He was the brother of Gertrude Ogle of NJ.

A celebration of David's life will be held Monday Sept. 27 at the Crystal Community Club, 71 Preston St. Wakefield from 5 – 9 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
