Deborah Moreton

Deborah J. Moreton of Danvers, formerly of Lynnfield and Melrose died on Saturday, January 16 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Boston on April 30, 1950 she was the daughter of Margaret (Thomas) Hansen of Lynnfield and the late Andrew Hansen.

Mrs. Moreton was a graduate of Lynnfield High School, Class of 1968 and had received her Bachelor of Science in Business from Northeastern University, Class of 1989. She had retired from Ford Motor Credit Company in Woburn and Tewksbury. Mrs. Moreton also worked as a realtor for Keller Williams in Beverly.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter Joan Moreton and her husband Robert Stone of Somerville, her brother Stephen S. Hansen of New York and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Moreton was predeceased by her brother Edward 'Ted" Hansen.

A funeral service will be held in the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 127 Summer St, Lynnfield on Thursday at 11am. Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday from 4-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House 78 Liberty St, Danvers, MA 01923.
