Delores Sateriale

Delores Marie (Costa) Sateriale, of Wakefield, died Saturday, April 26, at the Winchester Hospital at the age of 78; leaving behind her legacy of love, as well as her wonderful family.

Delores was born in Wakefield on April 30, 1935 to the late Manuel and Anna (Alves) Costa. She was a life long Wakefield resident and had been educated in the Wakefield Public School system.

To know Delores was to love her. You could not help but to feel welcomed and comfortable in her presence. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother and was a true friend.

Delores was the loving wife of Frank P. Sateriale, with whom she had shared nearly 60 years of marriage this May. Together they had six children, Deborah Vigneau and her husband Peter of Burlington, Denise Ayres and her husband Jonathan of Georgetown, Theresa Ryan and her husband Stephen of Townsend, Paul Sateriale and his wife Faydeen of Burlington, Michael Sateriale and his wife Kristine of Groveland, and Kimberly Fuller and her husband James of Plymouth. Delores also leaves behind her fourteen loving grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Manuel Costa.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Agnes Church 186 Woburn St., Reading at 10:30am. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
