Dennis Josephson

Dennis A. Josephson, 76, of Wakefield formerly of Haverhill and Lees burgh, Florida died on Friday, January 11 at the Wilmington Health Care Center.

Born in Ironwood, Michigan on December 2, 1936, he was the son of the late Axel and Mary (Grelou) Josephson.

Mr. Josephson was a graduate of Menominee High School and Lowell Technology School. He was a retired supervisor for Lucent Technology.
Mr. Josephson was a Korean War Air Force Veteran.

He is survived by his wife Edith M. (Sirois) Josephson, his two sons; Mark D. Josephson and his wife Mary Frances of Melrose and Glen Josephson and his wife Heather of Wakefield, his two brothers; Jim Josephson of Green Bay, WI, Gerald Josephson of Kerry, NC, his two sisters; Marlene O'Hara of Florida and Diane Saborn of Trenton, NJ. Mr. Josephson is also survived by his five grandchildren; Susan, Beatrix, Zoe, Hayden and Amelia.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield, on Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
