Dianne Mailly

Dianne E . Mailly of Everett, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 15 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Melrose on January 20, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Ralph B. and Jean R. (Taylor) Wicks.

After graduating high school, Dianne attended UMass Amherst Nursing School and remained dedicated to a career in nursing for more than 40 years. She had worked for both Massachusetts General Hospital and New England Memorial Hospital in the Labor and Delivery units, where she ushered thousands of babies into the world. Through her career as a Registered Nurse, she made a significant impact on newborns and their families. However, Dianne's greatest joy was her grandchildren; she reveled in their youthful successes and art projects.

Dianne is survived by her husband Stephan Mailly of Everett, her daughter Rebeccah (Loscocco) Kocak and her husband Dan of Londonderry, NH, and her grandchildren Taryn and Grant. She is also survived by her sisters Pam Kelly and her husband Mike of OR and Karen Crory of NH, as well as her nephew Glenn White of NH. She will be forever missed by her family, friends and coworkers.

Visiting hours for Dianne will be held on Sunday from 5 to 9pm at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield. Her funeral will be held at the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church, 273 Vernon St., Wakefield on Monday at 10 o'clock. Interment to follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dianne's name may be made to the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church, 273 Vernon St., Wakefield, 01880.
