Dillon P. Dwyer, 26, of Biddeford, ME formerly of Reading, died on Tuesday, September 15 at the Portland Medical Center.

Born in Boston on March 18, 1989 he was the son of Wayne M. Dwyer of Reading and the late Kathleen Shale-Dwyer.

Dillon was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School, Class of 2008 and had attended the Three Springs School in Alabama and the Hyde School in CT. He enjoyed playing lacrosse and was a certified ropes climbing instructor at the Hyde School. He also enjoyed cooking, trained as a chef and worked as a meals function manager for the Hilton Hotel in Portland, ME.

In addition to his father and late mother Kathleen Shale-Dwyer, Dillon is the brother Tristan Dwyer and his wife Kelly of Stow, grandson of Anna Dwyer of Scituate and the late Frederick J. Dwyer and nephew of Melody Dwyer and Frederick J. Dwyer, Jr and his wife Sally all of Scituate, Kevin Shale and his wife Amy Wilcox of Dover, Kris Shale of Reading, John H. Shale III and his wife Jayne of Utah and Michael Shale and his wife Candy of NJ.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St., Stoneham on Tuesday at 10am. Interment will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. At family's request, please omit flowers and send memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home in Stoneham.
