Dolores Riordan

Dolores M. Riordan , 81, of Wakefield died at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on Saturday, June 12.

Born in Somerville on April 29, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Julia (Marrotta) Scolles.

Mrs. Riordan was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. She had been a resident of Wakefield since 1962 and was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield.

Mrs. Riordan was the wife of the late James J. Riordan . She was the mother of James J. Riordan or Raymond, NH Judith A. Howes of Malden, Joseph P. Riordan of Worcester and John A. Riordan of Wakefield. She was the sister of Kathleen DiPinto of Saugus and the late Robert Scolles. Mrs. Riordan is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St. Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday 4-8pm.
