Domenic Sarcia

Domenic R Sarcia (Bob), age 79 of Lynnfield, formerly of Westford and Sandwich MA, died on Friday, January 28th due to complications from ALS, with his family by his side.

He was born in East Boston on November 28, 1942 and was the son of the late Carmelo and Lucy (Santangelo) Sarcia .

Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1963, before being honorably discharged.

Bob had a passion for gardening, travel, the outdoors, and music. He was a car enthusiast who enjoyed zooming around in sports cars. He was a member of several different sport car clubs over the years. Bob's passion for gardening lead him to become a Master Gardener and he spent several years helping with the gardens at Barnstable County Fair, and then created his masterpiece garden in Lynnfield. When he wasn't in the garden you could find him listening to music or playing his keyboard. Bob loved to be outdoors hiking or walking and was able to travel to many destinations throughout the world with his wife from Italy to Japan and many stops in between.

He was the beloved husband of the late Rosemary (Addesa) Sarcia . He was the loving father of Christine Doherty and her husband Joseph, Charles Sarcia and his wife Tierney, Elizabeth Way and her husband Ferris and Matthew Sarcia and wife Martina. He was the grandfather of Bryan, Carolyn, Ferris, Lucy, Shealyn, Izabella and Hanna. He was also the brother of the late Roger Sarcia .

Bob's Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church, located on the corner of Grove and Salem St., Lynnfield on Saturday, February 19th at 11:00AM - please note masks are required for the church - followed by a Celebration of Life lunch at 1:00PM at Spinelli's on Rte. 1 South in Lynnfield, MA. All are welcome to attend the Funeral Mass and the Celebration of Life.
