Donald Orifice

Donald E . Orifice , 57, of Peabody (formerly of Wakefield) passed away at the Rosewood Rehab in Peabody on Sunday June 12 after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

Born in Waltham on February 4, 1954, he was the son of Salvatore Orifice and the late Angelina (DeFino) Orifice .

Donald was a 1972 graduate of St. John's Preparatory School and he also attended Bates College. He was the executive director of the North Shore Computer Society in Peabody and most recently was employed as an instructor at Lincoln Technical Institute in Somerville.

Mr. Orifice was the beloved husband of Linda E . (Hill) Orifice for 37 years. In addition to his father, Donald is survived by his daughter Jennifer ( Orifice ) MacRobbie and her husband Robert of Wakefield. He was also the proud grandfather of Morgan MacRobbie. Donald was the brother of Sally O'Neill of Wakefield, uncle of Samantha & Lyndsey O'Neill, step-son of Ann (Merry) Orifice of Wakefield and he is the step-brother of Sharon Giunta of Wakefield, NH, Bruce Merry of Wakefield, David Merry of Westford, Susan Merry of Newburyport and John Merry of Westford.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Wed. June 15 at 9 A.M. followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St. at 10 o'clock. A period of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 14 from 4 A'A'A' 8 P.M. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
