Donald Hoffman

Donald M . Hoffman , 88 of Peabody and formerly of Danvers died March 24 in Danvers. Born April 15, 1924 the son of the late Morton H. and Maybel (Rolde) Hoffman . Mr. Hoffman was raised in Illinois and was a graduate of Purdue University. He was a retired engineer from the National Life Insurance Company of Vermont. Mr. Hoffman had been a long time resident of Montpelier , VT and had later lived in England. He had most recently been a resident of Danvers and Peabody. Mr. Hoffman was a veteran of W.W. II and served with the United States Marine Corp.

He was the husband of the late Lois (Tedrick). He was the father of David A. Hoffman & his wife Robin of Lynnfield, Susan Barra and her husband Richard of New Canaan, CT. He was the stepfather of Ron Brainard & his wife Cheryl of Ravenna, OH. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the V.A. National Cemetery.
