Donald Mueller

Donald N. Mueller, 90, a longtime resident of Wakefield died Tuesday evening at the Baptist Hospital in Heber Springs, Arkansas.

Born in Saugus on January 27, 1920 he was the son of the late John A. and Edith F. (Norton) Mueller.

Donald was raised in Saugus and graduated from Saugus High School. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. Donald was a retired Sales Representative for W.R. Grace Co. of Cambridge. He was a member of the Wakefield V.F.W. and the Wakefield Lodge of Elks.

Donald is survived by his wife Doris M. (Gutro) Mueller, his 4 children; John K. Mueller and his wife Glenda of Arkansas, William J., and Donald N. Jr. and his wife MaryAnn all of Wakefield, and Gail Mueller of Portland, ME and his brother Jay Mueller. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren; Don, Daniel, Kathy, Jody, Erin, Michael, Shawn and William. He was preceded in death by his daughter Donna Pike and his sister Lee Vincent.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave. Wakefield on Tuesday at 11 a.m. A visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield prior to the mass from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
