, 85, of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville, died on Sunday, February 27 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
Born in Cambridge on December 9, 1925 she was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude
G
. (Earl) Williamson.
Mrs.
Phelan
was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. She was an avid Bingo Player at the Stoneham Boys and Girls Club and enjoyed spending time with her friends and neighbors.

was the beloved wife of 65 yrs to William D.
Phelan
. She was the devoted mother of William D.
Phelan
Jr. and his wife Joan of Brewster, Susan M. Buckley of North Reading, and the late
Doris
G
. Cacciola. She was the sister of James J. Williamson of Stoughton, Robert E. Williamson of Tewksbury, and John Williamson of Somerville. She was the loving Nana of William III, John, Anthony, Steven, Paul, Daniel, Ryan, and Shawn and the loving great Nana of Katie, Liam, Ava, Grant, Ella, Abigail, and Giavanna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. A period of visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
