Doris Mueller

Doris M. Mueller, 91, of Wakefield, died Saturday, August 6 at the Baptist Hospital in Heber Spring, Arkansas.

Born in Wakefield on July 7, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Alice V. (Walsh) Gutro.

Doris was a graduate of Wakefield High School and Melrose-Wakefield School of Nursing. She had worked as a Registered Nurse at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital and also the Greenview Manor Nursing Home before her retirement.

Doris was the wife of the late Donald N. Mueller. She was the mother of John K. Mueller and his wife Glenda of AR, William J. Mueller and Donald N. Mueller, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann all of Wakefield, Gail Mueller of Tampa Bay, FL and the late Donna Pike. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Kathy, Jody, Erin, Michael, Shawn, William, Daniel and Donald.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave,, Wakefield at 11 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., prior to the mass from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105
