Dorothy Cadogan

Dorothy A . Cadogan , 89, of Lynnfield died on Sunday, January 1 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Revere on March 7, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Chester and Susan (Martin) Bronsdon.

Mrs. Cadogan had been a Lynfield resident for the past 50 years. She was a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1940.

Mrs. Cadogan was the wife of the late Richard P. Cadogan . She is survived by her two daughters; Diane T. Schneider and her husband Robert of Reading and Donna M. Burgess and her husband Frank of Brewster, her son Richard P. Cadogan , Jr. and his wife Susan of Lynnfield and her two sisters; Lorraine MacClellan of Florida and June Gallagher of Nebraska. Mrs. Cadogan is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by her two sisters; Helen Shea and Mildren Grasso and her four brothers; Chester, James, Richard and Thomas Bronsdon

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St, Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-8pm. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Reading.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105
