Dorothy Ishkanian

Dorothy A . Ishkanian of Wakefield died Saturday January 17 at age 76.

Born in Winchendon, MA on June 6, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Robert & Lottie (Shaler) Frazier.

Mrs. Ishkanian was raised in Winchendon and was a graduate of Winchendon High School and later from the Worcester Hospital School of Nursing. She was Registered Nurse and worked in hospitals and several area nursing homes during her nursing career.

Mrs. Ishkanian was the beloved wife of Gerald P. Ishkanian . She was the loving mother of Nancy Ishkanian of Medford, Stephen P. Ishkanian of Belmont and Peter A . Ishkanian of Shrewsbury. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Her funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Wednesday at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made the American Heart Association 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
