Dorothy DiMeglio

Dorothy M. DiMeglio, 81, died peacefully at her home in the North End of Boston with family around her on Sunday December 29th.

Born on September 16, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Lanza) Moccia.

Mrs. DiMeglio was a long time resident of the North End and had lived in Wakefield.

Dorothy was the loving mother of John J. DiMeglio & his wife Marie of Wakefield. She was the beloved sister of Frank Cieri & wife Kathy of Wakefield, Frances DeVico, Kathy Contrado & husband Frank all of Boston. She was the loving grandmother of Daniel DiMeglio & wife Stacy and the late David DiMeglio. She was the great grandmother of Daniel & June. Also survived by her dear friend Jo Verlizzo She was also survived by many nieces and nephews

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Leonard Church 320 Hanover St. North End on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
