Dorothy Freeman

Dorothy L . Freeman , 89, of Wakefield, died Monday, July 21 in Chelmsford after a long period of failing health. She was born on November 23, 1924 and was the daughter of the late George and Martha (Antle) Burckel. She had been a long time Wakefield resident and worked for many years as a waitress.

Mrs. Freeman was the wife of the late Walter Freeman . She is survived by several cousins.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Interment will follow at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation at the McDonald Funeral Home will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm.
