Dorothy Green

Dorothy C. Green, 85, of Wakefield died Monday, May 30 in Reading.

Born in Winchester on October 3, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Collins) Carroll.

Mrs. Green was raised in Winchester and was a graduate of Winchester High School, Class of 1943. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1957. She enjoyed Golf and Tennis.

Mrs. Green was the wife of the late Louis Green. She was the mother of David T. Green and his wife Cheryl of Reading. She was the grandmother of Jennifer and Amanda. Mrs. Green was the sister of Paul Carroll of W. Roxbury and the late Thomas Carroll, Jr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 10 am followed by a funeral mass in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading at 11 am. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
