Dorothy Moore

Dorothy M . Moore , 82, of Wakefield died on Thursday, October 3 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Mrs. Moore was born in Somerville, MA on March 29, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Henrietta (Harris) Smith.

Mrs. Moore was raised in Somerville and later became a resident of Wakefield and formerly of Melrose. She was a retired clerk from Smith Drug Store and Fisher Jewelry of Wakefield.

Mrs. Moore was the beloved wife of the late Raymond M . Moore . She was the loving sister of June M . Donahue of Wakefield and the late Lawrence H. Smith. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews and one great niece.

Her Funeral Service will be held in McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Tuesday at 11am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home prior to the service starting at 9am. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
