Dorothy Rettig

Dorothy Helen Rettig, 90, of Stoneham died Saturday, July 19 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Calais, Maine on November 26, 1917 she was the daughter of the late John J. and Alice (Walker) Pettit.

Mrs. Rettig had been a Stoneham resident since 1952. She was a graduate of Calais Academy in Calais, Maine and the Holy Rosary Commercial School in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada.

Mrs. Rettig was the wife of the late William E. Rettig. She is survived by her three children; John Rettig & his wife Kathy of Weare, NH, Patricia Malher & her husband Cory of San Monica, CA and Nancy Lang of Haverhill. Mrs. Rettig is also survived by her three grandchildren; Mark & Lauren Rettig and Abby Malher.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St, Stoneham, on Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St, Stoneham at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
