Douglas M . Bradley , age 88, of Stoneham died Friday, October 26 at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln.
Born in Woodhaven, Long Island, New York on August 12, 1930 and was the son of the late Robert and Gertrude (Kenworthy) Bradley .
Mr. Bradley was raised in Bourne and was a graduate of Bourne High School and later attended classes at MIT and Chicago Tech. He had been a self-employed carpenter in Stoneham for many years and had also worked for Raytheon. Mr. Bradley was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy, having served 20 years, including service during the Korean Conflict and Desert Storm. He was a life member of the Naval Reserve Association and also the Stoneham VFW.
He was the beloved husband of Carmella I. (DeNisco) Bradley . He was the loving father of Natalie A. Semenza of Middleton and Maria A. Santoro of Stoneham. He was the cherished grandfather of Michael Douglas Semenza and Maria Arianna Santoro. He was the brother of the late William J. and Robert K. Bradley .
His Funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends at the Funeral Home, on Tuesday from 4-8pm.
Interment, at a later date, will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
