Douglas Toth

Douglas W . Toth , 66, of Wakefield, died on Wednesday, August 28 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center.

Born in Melrose on January 2, 1952, he was the son of the late John S. and Maida (Purrington) Toth .

Mr. Toth was a graduate of Wakefield High School. He served in the United States Air Force for eight years. Mr. Toth had worked for Sprint Telephone Company.

He is survived by his brother Myron Toth and his wife Bonnie of Wakefield and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Toth was predeceased by his brother Wayne Toth and his two sisters; Susan DeVita and Marcia Oakes.

His funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Tuesday at 11am followed by an interment at Forest Glade Cemetery. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday prior to the service starting at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry, PO Box 1624, Wakefield, MA 01880 or to the Veterans charity of one's choice.
