Earl Christie, Jr.

Earl N. Christie, Jr. 72 of Saugus and formerly of Stoneham died March 20 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center. He was born in Malden on August 3, 1941 the son of the late Earl N. & Dorothy F. (Taylor) Christie. Mr. Christie was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1959. He later attended Lowell Tech. Mr. Christie was retired from the General Electric Company of Lynn where he served as a engineer with 38 years of service.

Mr. Christie was the beloved husband of Pamela (Stiles) Christie. He was the loving father of Theresa Christie Judd and husband Mark of Acton, Earl N. Christie, III and wife Catherine Lee Christie of Arlington and Paul Christie & and wife Melisa Ford Christie of Somerville. He was the brother of Daniel, Jacqueline and Sharon Christie, Donna Clark and the late Thomas Christie. He was the devoted grandfather of Zachary, Zoë, Alexis, Kate, Jackson and Ford. He is also survived by Marie T. (Pagliuca) Christie.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald - Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham on Tuesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10:00. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Monday 5-8pm.
