Edith White

Edith C . White , 95, of Osterville formerly of Wakefield died on Friday, November 30 at the Woodbriar of Wilmington.

Born in Wakefield on January 24, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Charlotte E. (Pothier) White .

Ms. White was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School and Boston University. She was a retired teacher for the Ridgefield, New Jersey Public School System. Ms. White was a longtime resident of Osterville.

She was the sister of the late William White , Alfred White , Robert White , Edward White , John F. White and Emma White . Devoted friend of the late Helen Murphy. Survived by her 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10am. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
