Edna Perry , 94, of Revere, died in Wakefield on Friday, February 26. Born in Revere on December 18, 1921 she was the daughter of the late James F. and Margaret D. (Gromley) Rose.
Edna was raised and educated in Revere and was a graduate of the Immaculate Conception Catholic High School. She was an accomplished acrobatic dancer, beginning her dancing career at the age of three. After raising her family, Edna studied and taught Yoga. She also enjoyed Ballroom Dancing, sewing: where she excelled at making clothing, baking, and cooking. Edna was always willing to listen to people and encourage them in any way she could.
She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Perry , with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. She was the mother of William Perry and wife Elaine, Joan Perry and husband James Levine, Thomas Perry and wife Elizabeth, Edward Perry and wife Cheryle, and Lori DeMarco and husband Joseph. She was the sister of Virginia French and the late Gus, Frank, and Edward Rose, Irene Buckley, Catherine Griffin, Margaret Lynch, Mildred Dean, and Mary Zayac. She was the grandmother of Clint, Keith, John, Matthew, Nicole, Joseph, Emily, and Jack.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 15 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach St., Revere at 7:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
