Edward Stratton III

Edward B . Stratton III , 68, of Wakefield died on Thursday, November 7 at his residence.

Born in Washington, D.C. on August 22, 1945 he was the son of the late Edward B . and Kearsley (Caldwell) Stratton .

Mr. Stratton was a graduate of Ludlow High School in Fairfield, Connecticut, Colby College and had received his Master's from Boston University. He had been a Wakefield resident since 1976. Mr. Stratton was a partner at Muirfield Mechanical in Boxboro. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Wakefield.

Mr. Stratton is survived by his wife Mary E. (Collins) Stratton his two sons; Bow Stratton of Somerville and Matthew Stratton of Woburn, his daughter Margaret Stratton of San Francisco, CA, his brother William Stratton and his wife Suzanne and his niece Lilly Stratton all of Toronto, Canada.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 10:00am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11:00am. Visitation for relatives and friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-5pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Winchester Hospital Foundation, 611 Main Street, Winchester, MA 01890; please include a note stating "In honor of Edward Stratton".
