Edward J. Hutchins, 97, of Lynnfield died on Friday, June 28 at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading.
Born in Cyprus Island on January 6, 1916 he was the son of the late Joseph and Sarah (Dermenjian) Kutchukian.
Mr. Hutchins was a graduate of Boston Latin High School, Class of 1934. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Hutchins was a longtime sales representative at Jordan Marsh in Boston. He was an active member of the Wakefield Elks and the American D.A.V.
Mr. Hutchins was the loving husband of the late Dian (Nosella) Hutchins. He was the brother of the late Mable, Mary and George Kutchukian. Mr. Hutchins was the uncle of Diane Odian of Peabody, Diane "Dina" Peinert of Lynnfield, Patricia Lambert of Scituate, the late Barbara Goodwin of Marblehead, David Kutchukian of E. Dorset, VT., the late Fimie Williamson, the late Artin Matossian, Pamela Coffey and Lisa Gastineau both of Georgia. He is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday, July 3rd from 10-11am, followed by a graveside service at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
