Edward Nazarian

Edward Nazarian , 88, of North Reading formerly of Stoneham died Wednesday, December 7 at his home.

Born in Constantinople on September 20, 1923 he was the son of the late Nazareth and Marian (Kalajian) Nazarian .

Mr. Nazarian immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of 7. He was a graduate of Stoneham High, Class of 1943. He had served in the Army during World War II. He was a former baker at Hanks Bakery of Stoneham and had also worked for Teddie Peanut Butter.

Mr. Nazarian was a member of the Crystal Community Club, an avid candlepin bowler and cribbage player.

He was the husband of the late Dora (Farhadian) Nazarian . He was the father of Lorraine Ellis and her husband Keith of N. Reading and Marianne Maguire and her husband Matthew of Reading. Grandfather of Desmond and Brian Conte and Adam and Michael Ellis. Great grandfather of Jake, Sydney, Briana, and Brayden Conte. Mr. Nazarian was predeceased by his 8 brothers and sisters.

His funeral service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, on Saturday at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8pm. Interment, Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence.
